DocWorks Cookie Notice

This placeholder cookie notice describes the cookie categories supported in the current launch build, including necessary cookies and the planned analytics category.

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This page provides general information about DocWorks. We may update it from time to time to reflect product, policy, or legal changes.

Why DocWorks uses cookies

DocWorks uses cookies and similar storage technologies to keep the product secure, remember session state, and provide core functionality such as authentication and user preferences.

We are also preparing for optional analytics tooling so we can measure usage and improve the docs launch over time.

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies support sign-in, session continuity, security protections, and other essential product behaviour. These cookies stay enabled because the service cannot work correctly without them.

Examples can include authentication or refresh-token related storage, security protections, and settings that keep the application functioning as intended.

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies are optional and are intended to help us understand how people use DocWorks so we can improve the product. For this launch, the category exists in the consent manager even if analytics tools are not yet active.

If analytics tooling is added later, it should only run when you have granted consent for that category.

Managing your preferences

You can choose between necessary-only and analytics-enabled preferences using the cookie banner when it appears.

If you want to update your decision later, use the Cookie preferences control available in the app to reopen the preference centre at any time.
